The 2024 Spring Nominating Meetings have not been scheduled yet, but typically happen in March and April. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

If you are interested in running for your district, or would like to nominate another member for any of the districts, please take a moment to review the following before submitting your nomination:

Nominations are accepted at the Spring Nominating Meetings or by petition of 15 or more signatures by May 5, 2024.

As stated in Northwestern REC’s Bylaws, a nominee must live within the district he/she is being nominated for; however, any member, regardless of district, can submit a nomination. More information, such as removal of directors by members, vacancies, compensation, and personal liability of directors can be found in Article IV of the Bylaws.

Here is a breakdown of each district up for election and the areas they serve:

  • District 3 

  • District 5

  • District 10

Once all nominees are verified by the Member Panel for Director Elections, voting will begin in June with online, electronic and mail-in ballots. Election results will be announced during the 88th Annual Meeting currently scheduled for Sat., Aug. 3, 2024, at the New Beginnings Church of God on Leslie Road in Meadville.
